Sales Order

A sales order captures a customer’s commitment to purchase products or services, serving as a clear and organized record that guides the entire fulfillment process. From the user’s perspective, sales orders provide transparency by tracking what the customer has ordered, what inventory needs to be allocated, what has already shipped, and what remains pending.

The seamless conversion of sales orders into invoices or cash sales further streamlines the user workflow by automatically populating all item details, quantities, and prices. This eliminates manual entry, reduces errors, and allows users to focus on fulfilling orders efficiently and accurately—enhancing both operational productivity and overall user satisfaction.

Approach

The primary challenge centered on stakeholders’ desire to fully reimagine the sales order process. To ensure our solution addressed real user needs, we conducted in-depth engagements with customers across a range of contexts—including B2B, B2C, subscriptions, and open sales orders. By closely studying their workflows and listening to their expectations, our team gained actionable insights that informed our design direction. This understanding empowered us to define key priorities, balancing foundational enhancements with the introduction of innovative, user-driven features.

The page features a search bar, a list of wrist sensors with images, prices, and add buttons, detailed product information including the selected wrist sensor, selection options, shipping details, and related accessories. The layout has a gray sidebar on the left and a white main section on the right, with a brown background outside the page.
